Sweet Curry

Zutaten

  • 1 kg Boned shoulder of lamb
  • 1 Tasse Sour cream
  • 2 TL Garam masala
  • 1 Essl Curry powder
  • 125 g Butter
  • 2 EL Slivered almonds
  • 1/4 Tasse Sultanas
  • 1/2 Tasse Sliced dried apricots
  • 4 Cloves garlic
  • 2 groß. Onions
  • 1 x 5cm green ginger chopped
  • - salt, lemon juice

  • Cut meat into cubes. Place in bowl with sour cream, garam marsala, curry powder. Stir well and leave to marinate several hours. Heat butter, fry almonds until golden. Drain on paper towel. Fry sultanas and apricots until plumped, drain on paper towel. Fry sliced garlic, ginger and sliced onions until golden. Add meat and marinade, cook 5 mins on medium heat. Add sultanas and apricots. Cover and simmer 45 - 60 mins until meat is tender, add salt & lemon juice to taste. Garnish with the almonds.
